Fans of the Manchester-based Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brand, Progress Jiu Jitsu, will be delighted to hear that the new M6 Mark 5 Gi has dropped, just in time for BJJ gyms around the country re-opening following 18 months of Covid restrictions.
The IBJJF legal gi features a 450GSM jacket, 10oz cotton twill trousers, vulcanised rubber lapel and a range of embroideries on the gi itself. With circular Progress embroidery on each shoulder and at the top of left pant leg and a range of squares on the left side of the jacket and one the back of the neck, this simple design is perfect for those who prefer the minimalist look. The gis also feature a printed quote on the inner of the jacket which reads “Without Struggle, There Is No Progess” – a nice bit of motivation for anyone out there.
The M6 Mark 5 gi is priced at £95, is available in white, black and blue colourways and comes in sizes A0 to A4 with some Long size variants also available. There’s also ladies versions in all colours in sizes F1 to F4.
